Yay!

So mission accomplished, this weekend I found bridesmaid dresses that I loved and a possible cake decorator. The bridesmaid dresses come in all my colors, they don't cost a fortune, and the girls look great fabulous!

We have a little over seven months to go and it is crazy. I made my first fitting appointment for February and I know that seems far away but it is really is not. I am getting a lot of things done but now I realize why people who have the money hire a wedding planner. Because planning the wedding is my part time job now. However, if you have the time I say plan your day yourself, yes it is stressful but at least you will get what you want and when things don't go according to plan you get to bitch the people out :)

Well that is the update for now. Hopefully more to come next month :)

8 months to go

Well yesterday marked only 8 more months to go. I am excited but starting to get a little nervous. Although I feel like I have accomplished a lot in the past six months of planning I feel like there are so many little details left. Next week i will be hopefully finding a bridesmaid dress. I am still a bridesmaid down but not sure if I need another one. I have three bridesmaids and 1 junior bridesmaid to go with 4 groomsman. So I guess that will be fine.

Bridesmaids Dresses

Are proving to be an elusive creature that hides in the clothes racks yearning to be found. I have this image for my wedding and I can't seem to find the right bridesmaid dress to complete it. However, I think there is hope. I did not go to David's Bridal immediately because I thought they had started to cater more towards the prom side of dresses rather than bridal. But in a recent trip to find a junior bridesmaid dress I realized it was not so. So I will venture into the clothes racks again at the end of September in hopes of finding a dress that will make my dream a reality. Originally I had stated that I didn't care. I was going to allow my bridesmaid to find a dress that suited their body in the colors I had chosen, however, I realized I can't give up control over something so important. Alas, I am sorry dear bridesmaids but you will have to suffer with me through this perilous journey. I love you guys and I know we will find something that will work. See you at the races.
